The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today. The feature team is continuing to work on support for multiple accounts on desktop. We’ll keep you posted as we have more details.

Real time communication is so essential these days and MSFT's lack of commitment to multi tenant support so clear, that this will likely make me choose GApps + Slack ecosystems for a number of companies. You just can't expect people to proactively log in to other accounts to see if someone's been waiting for a reply. This is a shame, because most of the features are there and the Office 365 team has done a great job. It really is too bad this feature isn't given the priority it deserves.

This is quite simply, the most important feature missing for us -- and it is very unfortunate it isn't being prioritized accordingly.

The main advantage of chat tools such as Slack and MSFT Teams is the ability to not only categorize conversations by channels, but in particular the ability to get real-time tailored notifications. Having to sign out and sign back in into other tenants is a complete organization-wide deployment killer because communication is simply the most important aspect of all productivity tools. Progress in Teams has been impressive, and I hope this feature is reevaluated and given the importance it deserves.
