This idea has this ability in the list of features, and it is on on the backlog.
More votes might get it higher priority.
I think the following idea includes this feature, and it is on the backlog. More votes might get it a higher priority.
I have not used the Skype for business client, but this idea seems to be asking for a multi window/monitor feature that is the same as one of the features in the following idea, which is now on the backlog:
I would suggest that everyone who voted here go vote on 31661131... Even though it is already on the backlog, more votes might get it a higher priority and a sooner release.
I have seen a similar request here and the number of votes has gotten the request onto the backlog. However, if it gets more votes, it might get a higher priority on the backlog.
This request has been accepted by the feature team and is now on the backlog!
This feature is still in the planning stage. No new updates are available at this time.
Wasted so much time today trying to find some information that I knew was in a wiki tab in one of the channels in one of our teams. It is absolutely insane that this is not in development. Did we make a mistake in buying into the whole Office 365 hype? Get with it MS... seems like Slack has had everything searchable for years.
We have been iterating on different designs and are starting to test internally. I don’t have a timeframe but will keep you posted.
Thanks for following our suggestion to vote this up on SharePoint. It worked! SharePoint has confirmed that they have already started working on this and I’ll be getting an ETA from them after the holidays. -Suphatra
Discovered this issue today after renaming a channel a couple of weeks ago. It is extremely annoying!!! Only way to fix immediately is delete the channel and start over, but then we lose the conversations, which we do not want to do. Is there a way to move the Conversations?
Could an option be added to use a different attribute from AD when using @mentions? For instance, the DisplayNamePrintable attribute.
On a separate note, where could we ask MS about the fact that AD does not have a "nickname" attribute, but it does have attributes for birthplace and favorite drink?
I second this motion...
