This feature is on the backlog. We’ll update when we have more details.
This is an issue where I see that users cannot access notes, particularly as a guest / across tenants in a Teams meeting outside of a Channel. I see there is value to private meetings, outside of a Teams Channel, especially when it's not meant for everyone on a Team. Is there going to be a fix to address this to allow folks to access meeting notes?
This is definitely something we need. It is a ways away from any move to a multi-geo tenant for our organization given work that needs to be done and our continuance of acquiring companies and the process before integrating them into the company. This will allow so much collaboration that is lacking in a multi-tenant setting when there are a small # of tenants that are part of the enrolment and organization so shouldn't be seen as "external".
We acknowledge the customer demand for Private Channels and have been hard at work on it. Private Channels is currently in preview with a select group of customers. We expect to release the feature to the public later this Fall, and will update here when we are starting to roll out to all customers. We appreciate all the feedback you have provided to us on this forum and thank you for your patience.
The team is working on #2 (and has been for awhile). We will update as soon as we have more news.
This is definitely big for us. We tried to add those who are not sitting in our tenant (on-prem environment using QCS to share free/busy and GAL) as well as, a separate tenant (same company too) using QCS too to federate. This federation we have has not allowed us to add these users as guest, even though they are part of our company.
Still in the works, no additional details are available yet.
