you're selling teams native ip phones with 2 rj45 jacks and 0 bluetooth adapters.

obviously the best solution is to ignore the IP stack and instead build a solution from scratch around bluetooth.

try this instead  ·  Suphatra responded

Currently we have Teams defaulted to show you the first (up to five) channels ever created. If you want to add more channels to your left rail view, just click the ellipses next to the channel name and select “Favorite”. When you favorite the channel, it will then be “pinned” to your left rail under that team name.

Try that and let me know if that meets your needs!

since the official response is woefully outdated and irrelevant, try this instead:

-Highlight the "Team" you want to change channel visibility for your team members.
-Click the "...", then "Manage team", then the "Channels" heading.
-Under "Show for members" toggle a checkmark in every channel you want to be visible by default

This requires ownership of the Team. If you are only a member of the Team you will only see checkmark options for "Show for me" and can use the location to show/hide all the channels in that team in a pseudo-batching method where at least you don't have to click the "..." for each individual channel.

Create a channel just for the conference announcement, turn on channel moderation, make the content post with the relevant information, copy a link to the post and distribute it in your main communication channel along with a reminder to save messages from the ... menu if your team members want to refer back to that information quickly in the future without clicking the link again, delete the channel once the date becomes irrelevant.

For scenarios that are more permanent and less temporary it's hard to argue with creating a site page and adding a tab that points to it.

Pretty much the only scenario I can think of where this is better would be a static billboard for new teams users to land in instead of general chat that can point them to other Teams help/learning resources.

Thanks for your feedback. The transfer to voicemail option is currently in testing and will be released soon.

Note: Direct calls to a users voicemail is a separate feature which is planned. We’ll update when we have more details to share on this one.

    Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback! We are hard at work improving the Shifts app experience including adding recurring shifts. In the meantime, we wanted to share some tips and tricks to help with some pain-points mentioned:
    1) Make Edits to Your Schedule (Delete, Undo, Minor Copy Edits): Shifts works similarly to Excel in certain regards, so make sure to highlight shifts with your mouse and utilize keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z) to copy, delete, or undo actions. We find it helpful doing this particularly in month view and week view.
    2) Copy Button: Use the copy button on the top right to copy any timeframe you need for the entire schedule.
    3) Search for Shifts in Creation Phase: When creating a shift, utilize the search command to find shifts that have already been created in the past.

We’ll keep you posted when we have more news!

it should go without saying, but Vivaldi already... or multi-monitor support. honestly I feel like both isn't a hard ask but I'll take either one at this point.
