Yes, please. When a presenter interacts with all slide advance/retreat action and animations, those are shown to the meeting participants. But when they click to play the embedded YouTube video, NOTHING HAPPENS in the participant experience. This is not consistent with the rest of the app.

Yes, please. We often need to share creative content with our clients, and the single digit FPS and severely compromised audio of screen sharing with a video playing is not a great experience. I've seen how the open source BigBlueButton handles this, and am sure Microsoft has the resources to replicate or exceed a free project's functionality.

Yes, please. I find this a surprising omission.

2019 bump: Yes, please. We are not all equal participants in all events: sometimes there's a speaker, and an audience- some in the room, some remote workers joining via Teams.

In that situation, the remotes workers shouldn't see their fellow remotes as equal screen space as the presenter, there should be an ability to make the speaker a larger visual priority.
Also- an active speaker highlight. GTM has it, as does Zoom, assuredly more that I haven't met.

My org commonly does meetings where one person is "on stage" presenting. It would be great for remote participants to make the video feed of the presenter larger, vs an equal to the other remote attendees also watching.

I wanted to configure the Twitter integration to dump the #teamstips posts into a channel, but to do so requires creating a dedicating a twitter account to the purpose. Twitter can be searched without an account login: https://twitter.com/search?q=teamstips&src=typd

Could a future version please use OS X's native Notification Center for notifications, vs MS own special dialogs? The inconsistency and placement right over Notification Center alerts is unwanted.
