Yep. Our Sales people keep showing me PPT decks to convince me that this feature will be there (and also do this with customers), but I am not sure if Microsoft will clearly announce when they withdraw something from the roadmap that was there earlier. Also, the question - what we should be able to tell our customers - is not just whether there will be any kind of integration/federation, but also what modalities will be supported (just presence/chat, or also audio/video; peer-to-peer only or also conferences). Public IM connectivity for Skype for Business has undergone a lengthy evolution process, where features have been added and removed over time. It may be too much to ask what exactly MS is planning for in the long run, but would be nice to know if there are plans at all.

If the status of this suggestion is not 'Declined', what status does it have? Is it Postponed, to be considered at a later stage?

It is expected that integration between Teams and Skype for Business Online will increase. The integration between Teams and Skype for Business On Premises (which is currently zero) should also increase. This should include Enterprise Voice, i.e. integration between Teams and the Enterprise Voice functionality of Skype for Business Online, then also the Enterprise Voice functionality of Skype for Business On Premises (e.g. Dial-in conferencing, dial out to PSTN numbers, switch a call or meeting from PC audio to a PSTN number).

It would be great if discussions could be moved from one Channel to another. In the course of time, it will often become clear that specific discussions fit better in another (new) Channel.

Great news! We just started working on this for the AUDIO portion. We are still trying to determine feasibility for the video portion of your request.

Expand/collapse may also help for people to reply to the right discussion (right now people often use the text box at the bottom of the screen to reply to the last discussion, not realizing that they are starting a new discussion). Collapse to subject will only work well if subject field is presented more prominently (not just after expanding the compose box, there are other suggestions on this). A discussion should be a more concrete 'object' in the channel, including options to manage it (delete the whole discussion, move the discussion to another channel or even to another team).

we have this!  ·  v-brorob responded

Adding a subject line to a message makes it a lot more scannable for everyone else. To do that, first you need to expand your compose box by clicking format icon. From there, just type the subject line you want in the first line of your expanded compose box.

There seems to be some confusion around how this works. First off the ability to delete messages is off by default.

The IT Admin who setup the Teams environment will need to turn on the admin ability to delete messages. Once they have enabled the functionality, admins will be able to delete user messages.

If your IT Admin as enabled it and you still are having troubles please let me know in the comments below.

Today (more than 5 weeks after the last person mentioned it) it still does not seem possible: I am owner of a team but cannot delete someone else's messages. Also, I cannot delete system generated messages (e.g. notification that a meeting has been canceled). Also wonder if it would be useful to have the ability to set more granular permissions. E.g. certain users (with kind of moderator role for a specific channel) can delete messages from a specific Channel in the team but not from other Channels.

It would be good to have a Contact list that behaves the same as the Contact list in Skype for Business client, i.e. showing contact information from Skype for Business Address Book, Exchange Global Address List and local Outlook Contacts folders (using contact information aggregation to aggregate information for the same user in one Contact card).
