Pinning the entire document library is supported today. Learn more here, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/add-a-sharepoint-page-or-list-to-a-channel-in-teams-131edef1-455f-4c67-a8ce-efa2ebf25f0b.
We currently do not support pinning a specific folder, but we are considering this feature.

On a SharePoint document library we have set the "Require documents to be checked out before they can be edited?" to Yes.
This means that, when creating a document it has to be checked in before it is visible for other users.
This is a problem when the user creates a new document in Teams via drag'n drop or by creating a new document, because Teams does not show that the document is checked out to the user.
Teams does not support displaying that the documents are checked-out and also not doing check-in and check-out.
This is very confusing for our users.
This means that the users have to check

I apologize for not having updated this. Changing the landing page for a Team and/or Channel remains on the backlog at this time.
Hey everyone — Suphatra’s back! And I’m on the case with this item.
I talked to engineering and I think they don’t understand this request. The requests says “Admin App” — do you mean Admin Center? The O365 portal?
Also, what exactly do you envision for central administration — for example — what can you do now, can’t do, and would like to do with this new feature.
Your feedback will help me get the team to put more resources into this. Thank you!
Due to a priority shift this request has slipped to the backlog. I hate to bring bad news. I will continue to provide the feature team your feedback and votes.
Hopefully this will move back up in the queue soon.
