Teams has become very slow on my computer. When I navigate to the teams window it is often white for 10-15 seconds. Sometimes the text does not show for several seconds when I start typing a message.
This feature request is still being reviewed. The team is working hard to make numerous changes with regards to notifications, but they haven’t forgotten about this item.
I hope to have more details soon.
Currently, follow the channel option has to be selected by each individual user.
The person who creates the channel should have an option to set follow channel for individual or all members. This would ensure that relevant members are being notified.
The feature is still being worked upon. Many different changes are going into Teams and will provide a slow but steady pace to our performance increases.
I don’t have any new details at the moment but hope to get some additional feedback in the next several weeks.
Typing in the desktop version can be slow and laggy.
The app start is extremely slow.
I have a similar problem.
Given I deleted a channel called "test" in the past
When I later want to create a channel called "test"
Then Teams tells me that an error occurred while creating the channel.
1) the channel is created and added to the team (preferred), or
2) I can "undelete" the channel deleted channel called "test"

Thanks for your feedback!
Hi — My apologies for the delay in updating this item. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device. We thought this had fixed the “incorrect status” issue. From comments below, it sounds like people are still seeing issues.
If you are still having issues, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with device info and detailed repro steps to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This request is still queued within our backlog. No new details yet.
