As we announced at Microsoft Ignite 2019 this morning, we are excited to confirm that Multi-window capabilities are coming to Microsoft Teams, and will start rolling out to the public ring early next year!
Alex & the Teams team
Any update regarding this? Having multiple windows update would greatly enhance the versatility of Teams!
Definitely looking forward to this feature. Especially if it lets us keep chat active while working within tabs (or even multiple tabs too!)
Due to prioritization of other work-items this has been moved to the backlog. We will update when it is being actively worked on again.
Any update regarding this? Because the ability to archive channel is on the backlog, the next best item would be able to move channels into a an Archive Team.
We are still considering this feature for future releases, and will continue to update the status when it changes.
This is still VERY needed. It makes MUCH more sense to have multiple channels to separate projects for a Team then it is for us to archive a whole team.
Checking back into this. This is a must. My team handles many small to medium scale projects, and it makes much more sense to create a channel to dedicate to those projects than a whole new Team.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered for testing the Office 365 group calendar. The TAP team will be reaching out as we are closer to being ready.
I am interested in testing with my teams, as well.

It looks like some people in the thread below have figured it out — we actually have this. You can start a chat both ways; the system will automatically recognize if this person is on Skype for Business or on Teams.
Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
A fix for this is being worked on. We hope to have a fix in internal Microsoft rings soon for testing. I don’t have a timeline for release externally at this point, but will keep you posted.
This feature is in final internal testing and will be released soon. We’ll update when it is closer to release.
Thank you all very much for the great response. The survey is now closed. The feature team will be reviewing all the data that was gathered and responded based on the findings.
Again, thank you for helping us make Microsoft Teams the best it can be.
Good news, this feature is partially done. :)
Planner tasks can now be copied to other plans. To copy a task, click on the “…” menu on the task. From there, you can select a different plan to copy the task to.
This should definitely be the default action. If it is accessible by Teams, it should open in Teams first.
Good news, this feature has moved into the planning stages. I’ll keep you posted as we continue to move ahead in development.
Any update regarding this?
Screen sharing on Chrome and Chromium-based Edge is now supported. We also have released support for joining meetings from Safari, Firefox and IE browsers, with some limitations. For details, please see the following link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams#browsers
We really need screen sharing in browser to work with clients.
You should experience significant improvements in copy & paste of images within Teams, as well as to & from Teams. We are aware of a few remaining issues, but the most common cases are resolved.
Thanks again for your patience on this one.
Thank you for your suggestion! We really appreciate the feedback and idea. We have reviewed this request and started working on it. I’ll let you know as it nears completion.
I really like the suggestion of creating an alarm on a message, so you come back to it. I’ve passed this on to our engineering team.
Meanwhile, here’s another feature you can utilize for the same purpose — use our “bookmark” button, which is in the upper right corner of every message. This will save that message or thread directly to your profile. To access your saved messages, just click your face in the upper left corner of the product. You’ll see a tab in the left rail that says “Saved.” This is like a list of little reminders.
Hope that helps! :-)
Good news! This is in the works.
This feature request is still in the works. No additional updates are available at this time. I’ll keep you posted as I hear more.
Hello, any update regarding this?
Definitely would like to see this implemented!
We are working on supporting more than 4 videos in a Teams meeting. We don’t have a date to share, but will update as we get closer to completion.
This feature is under review by the feature team. No new feedback at this time.
This feature would be amazing.
