I am new to Teams, so I wasn't aware of this major design oversight. I often need to be able to view different documents simultaneously, as most people do. Having to do all these workarounds is absurd and completely hampers productivity and collaboration. If you want people to USE Teams, then it needs to BE useable. Why should users have to perform elaborate workarounds to achieve a normal, common functionality? I have no choice because it's a company decision, but believe me, if I did, it wouldn't be this.
