Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

Collaborative learning is very important, and it would be nice to see the collaboration beyond the shared spaces in the class notebook. There are some work-arounds to help facilitate the assigning and collecting of group work, but it would be much better for students and teachers to establish consistency with assignments (group or individual) being doing through assignments.
I have a project that my students are working on and being able to attach their group research document and group presentation would be awesome instead of having to have each student make their own and then share it with me. This takes the work outside of Teams, which brings the space to less of a "classroom hub" like it should be.

Great suggestion for all STEM classes! I’ve moved this feature to ‘under review’.

This would link back to the idea of a "hub" option for the opening screen on Teams. Being able to schedule announcements ahead of time, also continues to meet the LMS needs of teachers for use in classrooms. (A feature that MS Classroom claimed to have that was not transferred when that project was abandoned in favor of MS Teams.)

Thank you all for your continued feedback on this feature! We are still evaluating options, so for now the ‘Posts’ tab remains the default first tab for every team.

Great suggestions so far in the comments, but please do continue to share how you would use this feature so we can better understand the use case for our planning.

I am not sure that I am contributing anything new at this point, but I definitely agree with a Dashboard landing page option. Particularly as Teams continues to be marketed as a Learning Management System this is very important! It was an option that my school was excited about getting from MS Classroom that we never got to experience because it was discontinued in favor of MS Teams. Using Teams as a Hub of learning is an awesome idea that I would love to be able to get full use out of in my classrooms. A "homepage" rather than just a straight feed would continue to developed that need and desire from many MANY teachers.

Thanks for all of the feedback on this one. We are reviewing how we can improve notifications around Assignments in Teams. Please keep the feedback coming!

Adding an option to turn on notifications for submission would be awesome. Something similar to how notifications for Forms submissions can be turned on and off. I don't want notifications at the beginning, but once I've passed everything back and I am waiting on stragglers, I would like notifications to know that I need to go back and check.
