Can we just get rid of the Files tab altogether. I just spent a while trying to set up an MS Teams site to go along with our SharePoint site. So far it has been awful. We don't want to use the Files tab just the SharePoint Document library. Connecting the SharePoint document library is painful because it always wants you to select one of the directories not the whole library.
Then teams starts cluttering it up with directories for each channel that you create (and don't want the "Files" tab for) and it looks like you have to add the SharePoint document library for each channel as well.
I suspect we are just going to give up on MS Teams.
