I'm sure that MS understands by now that we need this. I'm sure that MS developers use Teams all the time to work on code or presentations together (especially in this work-from-home era), and constantly run into the problem that they have to zoom+scroll or change resolutions to collaborate. I'm sure all 1457 of us are not the only people who've complained about this obvious feature.

What I am not entirely sure about is how this is less important than emoji's, notification styling or re-skinning the A/V settings pane or a 5-minutes-left-warning?

2021 brought a number of good improvements to Teams, e.g. system audio sharing on MacOS, breakout rooms, better lobby management and more slideshow presentation freedom. All good improvements. But come on, for half a year, this it all we get? Many (if not most) of us have pretty much been glued to this product for like 6-8 hours a day for the entire past year, and especially for the power users, little has improved.

And on this front, as many have noted, it's actually gotten worse because this function was in there, but was *removed*. I get that MS is not going to explain this, but I wish they would explain this.

    Very much yes!

    AS A Teams team owner
I WANT TO be able to customize what visitors and/or contributors see when they click it
SO THAT I can offer an introduction text, can get their attention, provoke engagement, peak interests, give useful general information, show metrics/dashboards/etc., set a general mood, show a motivational background image... etc. etc.

Kind of like a Sharepoint team page.

It is unbelievable that Teams gets so many Office collaboration features, but the work on actually professionalizing the meeting experience seems so lackluster.

Most importantly, chromakey/green screen for good presentations, and actual full screen for people who want to work on a project together.

It's almost like Teams meetings are only intended for people who just want to look at each other's faces all day, and the rest of the content quality is just blatantly ignored. It holds both technical co-workers (development teams!) and trainers/speakers back in actually using this tool.

The weird thing is, I'm sure MS has *plenty* of those on payroll... They must have these same concerns. Don't they actually use Teams? Or are they just ignored by the product owner?

Thank you for your feedback! The team has reviewed this request and has added it to our backlog for both Private to Standard (Public) and Standard (Public) to Private channel conversion. We will share an update as soon as it’s available.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!
