I really like the suggestion of creating an alarm on a message, so you come back to it. I’ve passed this on to our engineering team.

Meanwhile, here’s another feature you can utilize for the same purpose — use our “bookmark” button, which is in the upper right corner of every message. This will save that message or thread directly to your profile. To access your saved messages, just click your face in the upper left corner of the product. You’ll see a tab in the left rail that says “Saved.” This is like a list of little reminders.

    Hope that helps! :-)

As we announced at Microsoft Ignite 2019 this morning, we are excited to confirm that Multi-window capabilities are coming to Microsoft Teams, and will start rolling out to the public ring early next year!

    Thanks,
    Alex & the Teams team

I fully support this. It's actually a pain to work on more than one Team and follow the activities without loosing track, where you've been.

Would be cool to have Tabs at a Global Scope, so it's possible to have a look at the different activities and then switch back to your current tab.

Or simple have a preview for the stuff going on, telling more than "yeah - there has been an update - guess what".

We’re pleased to confirm the Teams client for Linux will be available in preview by the end of this calendar year, enabling people who use Linux client at work or in educational institutions to collaborate with others on Teams. Users will be able to install native Linux packages in .deb and .rpm formats.

    Thanks!

This feature request has moved to the planning stage. There have also been several small updates that have gone out already, as well.

I’ll keep you posted as I hear more about coming updates.

Today I searched for an image within a conversation, simply pasted by a team member without any additional text a while ago. Since the image is (a) not listed in the files tab (e.g. rocket-chat does that), and (b) I cannot filter for messages from a certain user without typing some text, I had no option than scrolling down through **** to find the image again.

You really got to improve on the search!

    declined  ·  Suphatra responded

We’re fixing bugs identified in the comments, and other user reports we’ve received around markdown, but we’ve decided we’re not going to fundamentally change our markdown support.

This is the first time we’ve declined a request, and it didn’t come easily. We weighed this against other important features we’re working on to deliver and we had to make some tough choices.

Really appreciate your understanding on this, and please feel free to ping me if you have any questions, complaints, or need to rant.

It's really strange, that the markdown support only is "partial"
why can I only use ## for a header but no further differentiation such as header1 or header2?
