We are getting closer… the team is almost ready to rollout MacOS notification support internally for testing – we hope to have it to the public by the end of this quarter.
We have already come to grips with the fact that this app will never been fully native, but please at least use native push notifications. :) Do your best to be a good macOS citizen.
This request is still queued within our backlog. No new details yet.
We’re currently working on defining a compact mode experience. I will post more details when we have more to share.
I wholeheartedly agree with this. Even if it looked like a clone of Skype it would be way ahead of where it is.
It seems like there's a box around EVERYTHING in the UI which really clutters it up. :)

Hi — My apologies for the delay in updating this item. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device. We thought this had fixed the “incorrect status” issue. From comments below, it sounds like people are still seeing issues.
If you are still having issues, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with device info and detailed repro steps to firstname.lastname@example.org.
