Hi Everyone – thank you for your patience. As was commented by someone below, Suphatra is no longer at Microsoft, but rest assured we are working on this feature.
I've completed the survey but the only questions that seemed relevant related to merging group chats into channels or teams, but only because we've been creating group chats to do what we should have been able to do with private channels in the first place.
With private channels, we wouldn't need any of the options from the survey at all.
We're now 4 months on from the last meaningful admin update on this, surely there must be some idea of when this is coming? Some transparency would help quell people's frustrations at this missing yet fundamental functionality.
Also adding to the calls for this, we are looking to roll out teams within our organisation, but both this and external/federated access are essential for us to use it. Without these features being implemented soon, we will be forced to look at other solutions to meet our needs.

I like this idea, but I'm thinking on a larger scale of a company wide announcement, to everyone within your Office 365 organisation. Would be really useful for certain things that need to be seen by all members of staff.
This request is still queued within our backlog. No new details yet.
We are now rolling out Teams company-wide, and the Out of Office response is desperately needed, but it really needs to pull directly from Outlook rather than being set separately.
Can we get an update on this please?
