Hi everyone, there is a really easy way to create an instant, real time poll in seconds by using the Forms bot. Students can now respond to the poll and you’ll see the result in real time.
Check out this awesome quick video showing you how to do it today! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD8H0-RGh9k

The team has delivered improvements to the New Meeting experience in Calendar such as optional attendees, richer custom recurrence UX, as well as enhanced meeting RSVPs.
To learn more about RSVPing to meetings in the Teams Calendar, how to create a recurring meeting, and the new meeting scheduling experience including the scheduling assistant, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/office/schedule-a-meeting-in-teams-943507a9-8583-4c58-b5d2-8ec8265e04e5.
Thanks!

Hello wonderful educators and students! I read a report recently that nearly 750M students (of the worlds 1.6B students) attend schools that were closed in October due to the global pandemic. Please know that your Microsoft team is listening hard to the needs of this community.
Regarding assignments integration with Calendar, we have made significant progress and look forward to making this available everyone as soon as possible.

Unfortunately I need to switch this back to Under Review. The feature team is investigating how best this could be implemented.

Thanks everyone for your feedback on this. As more educators look for ways to create secure assessments (especially remotely) this is one of the options we are investigating.

This feature is being worked upon and I hope to have more details to share in the coming months.

I Completely agree, the windows desktop app is useless for alerting users, we find that users are missing messages, specifically messages to groups as opposed to individuals.

I think you can use microsoft stream to accomplish this. We have been using it as an alternative to the 'video channel' and i believe it can be brought into teams.
