Group Calendar is a priority for the team, and the feature team is continuing work on it. You’ll start to see some incremental improvements. We look forward to sharing more details and timeframes soon.
Thanks!

This continues to be on our backlog due to prioritization of other work items. We will update when there is more to share.

You took something with 10,000+ votes and put it on the backlog? Who's the genius that made that decision? Will this be a part of Private Channels by chance?

Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

Any update? Its been 6 months... I specifically would like to pin an Information messages in the conversations tab to explain the function of each channel in certain teams.

I want the ability to Pin a message so it is always viewable on the Conversations tab. This would be a Welcome type message letting them know the purpose of the specific team and offer guidance.
An alternative would be that I could make a new Tab with that information if there was a way to change the default tab people see when they view a team as suggested here:

Came here to suggest the same thing. Would definitely help in teams with lots of channels.

I apologize for not having updated this. Changing the landing page for a Team and/or Channel remains on the backlog at this time.

We have a channel that's specifically for file storage. I want the Files tab to be the default since it's extra clicks and time to always have to manually go to the files tab. Should be a pretty simple change I'd think...

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.
Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

Any update? Suphatra doesn't work for MS any more and the last update is from 6 months ago. Is this going to go in with Private Channels?

I found this script someone created that might at least make the process a bit less painless...

Came here to post this same thing. In Skype, I can right-click a group name and start a group chat with this people really easily. We need this functionality in Teams.
Also, in Skype I can Ctrl+Click on multiple people form my contacts list and then start a group chat with this people. I can't do this in Teams at all. It's time consuming and annoying to have to start a chat with one person and then manually add all the other people after the fact.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
Thanks!

Been using Teams at work for a long time but am now starting to use a personal version as well. Really need this feature so I can use them both on my phone.

As a work around, I use different browsers for my different accounts. Not a great solution but I know Edge is signed in with one microsoft account, chrome is signed in with another, etc. I even do this with my normal account and my Domain Admin account. One browser for one, one for the other so I don't have to keep signing in and out.

Glad this feature exists as I just found it now. However, some updates are needed:
-Making the lists all expand every time I go to the Chat tab is really annoying. I'd prefer that they all minimize over all expanding since expanding causes them to go off the screen.
-Being able to rearrange the groups would be great too whether a simple Drag & Drop or the up/down arrows to click. Anything would be helpful.
-Also need to be able to add multiple people to a group like I can add multiple people to a chat. Currently I can only add one at a time.Mike supported this idea ·

The team is working to address issues with call controls that occur for users running both Teams and Skype for Business. We will let you know when there is more to share.

How is there no official response on this? We use S4B with Jabra headset and when I press the Mute button on the headset, it mutes my Skype. When I do the same thing on Teams, I get a notification that says Call Controls aren't available. The headset still mutes me but Teams doesn't show it muted. This leads to people being "Double Muted" when they have to unmute the headset and unmute Teams just to talk.
I don't know how more people haven't complained about this. Wow.

Same problem here. Is there any way I can choose to not show some of the video feeds? We have a bunch of people in a conference room and 2 or 3 people joining from their desk. I want to see the conference room in widescreen but when we have 3 feeds it puts the conference room and one other person side by side and we lost half the image of the conference room.
