Is this still happening for you? Votes have dropped off so I hope this has resolved. Please let me know!

It happens specifically when you type @ in front of any text in your chat, and then consequently deletes the "@" again. All the text stays bold unless you delete everything and start over. It's inconvenient and a bit odd. Maybe the text should only appear bold after you have successfully tagged someone from your team? :)

Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:

    - Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook

    - Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams

    - Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

    Thanks!

YES! This feature would be so amazing. I am fighting a battle in my organization to diminish e-mail threads, and this would be a nice way for people to transition from mails to Teams. Please add it in (even though it might be difficult)
