As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!

Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.

    Thanks,
    Alex & the Teams team

Just discovered a major security flaw that this request may resolve.

There is no control to verify that the link on a Teams invite is opened by the tenant invited to the meeting. Therefore, if you have multiple accounts, receive a Teams invite to a third party meeting, click on the link and join via the desktop app.... you will join the meeting using whichever account was signed in to the desktop app at that time. Confidential and potentially sensitive chat messages sent by third party users are now visible on the unrelated tenant.

Microsoft, this is a major security issue. Needs immediate escalation.

One solution may be that the desktop client switched to the correct tenant automatically based on the invite. The better solution is that all tenants are logged in like the outlook client (so all notifications are received in real time) and meeting invites open using the correct tenant.

We are excited to announce the 3×3 video view has been rolled out 100% to for Windows and Mac Clients. If you aren’t seeing 3×3 yet, please logout and log back in to the client.

We realize 3×3 is a start, but not good enough… as mentioned, we are continuing to work to include more videos during a meeting, as well as enabling support for mobile devices. Hence, the “partially done” status.

    Please see documentation here: https://support.office.com/article/using-video-in-microsoft-teams-3647fc29-7b92-4c26-8c2d-8a596904cdae

    Enjoy!

Microsoft drove the 1990's productivity revolution by combining disparate products into one clean suite (Office). Seems like since 2000 they prefer chaos over productivity. I vote for focus on productivity. Simply expand Teams capabilities to handle external coms more easily, including webinars and embedded support....
