You can search in Teams. Why duplicate that in Outlook?

On premise bots are needed for Infrastructure Chat Ops and security.

This is really important. This is a major blocker to implementing a lot of useful integrations. Any kind of application which has context specific updates needs this feature to be at all useful to integrate. It also can't possibly be very hard to implement. The units are all there in the Graph API, the permissions would be the same as any other access to the same content. You just have to expose it through Graph API and in Webhooks. Please, make this a priority.

This is a great idea. I've been looking for something like this when working with powershell and teams integrations with webhook connector via this library I've hacked together:
    https://github.com/dizzi90/PoSh-MSTeams

Certainly MessageCards should be possible to refer to as parents for new messages.

This item is still in the works. I’m waiting for additional details from the feature team and hope to be able to share something more detailed soon.

Good idea. Would be great if the mail tab would also have a "share to Teams" button so that you can share team relevant emails to the teams channel.

This is a major blocker to Teams adoption in one of my teams, because we actively use a private Yammer group.
