We are getting closer, and are still working thru some bugs, but hope to release this as part of a Public Preview pack in early 2021! (Windows 10 released with the December 2020 pack this week)

You can learn more about the new Microsoft Teams Public Preview program here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreview, and Teams administrators can find documentation to manage which users will see the Public Preview option here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreviewAdmin

Just wanted to add that if your sysadmin enables the preview these steps do work:

It's not perfect so I expect this to ship CY23.

Do you think they spent developer time automating moving the date or is there a Jr. Dev who has to update the data manually?

looks like we might be moving away from teams to slack. woo hoo!

what will happen first - IT makes that happen or this massive (apollo level) engineering project is completed? even if they sit on the transition until 2022 i suspect IT will win.

The month is almost over which means its time for the release target to move.

Where do these comments go? If they go into a Teams channel make sure you check under the native macOS notifications for your Teams notifications because they will be under those.
