one of the most frequent things we do at my firm is screen sharing (but the problem below is the same for other connections). If I'm talking on the phone (a real phone) with someone and i want to start a screen share, i go to chat (not obvious for the use-case but teachable), click the "New Chat" button which is waaay up away from where anyone expects it to be(and extra small... make it as big as my picture), type in the username and no options for video call, audio call or screen sharing. if i click on the upside-down carrot on the right... TWICE, i get the options. can't you just put them there so i don't have to teach ANOTHER quirk? ALSO hovering over the icons for video, audio, screen sharing don't have tool-tips. the same buttons have tool-tips if you click on someone on your recent list. if you don't see this behavior, QUIT teams, relaunch and select someone you've never chatted with.

This feature remains on the backlog, while we work on other high priority Meetings features.

I do a lot of session sharing with RDP windows and this bar is in the way and it can’t be moved out. Just a pixel too far and the whole team is waiting for some timeout.
How about the instant my cursor is no longer on the bar, you hide it again when it’s not pinned?

This request is still working its way through the backlog. Nothing additional to report yet.

this is annoying and unnecessary. desktop icons are buried under windows all the time, it jacks with OneDrive KFM, the app already starts by default and is running.... so... whats the point of a forced- created icon nobody uses? it really stinks with enterprise users (ya know, TEAMS users) when logging into multiple devices with users that really dislike icons on their desktops.
