I really like the suggestion of creating an alarm on a message, so you come back to it. I’ve passed this on to our engineering team.
Meanwhile, here’s another feature you can utilize for the same purpose — use our “bookmark” button, which is in the upper right corner of every message. This will save that message or thread directly to your profile. To access your saved messages, just click your face in the upper left corner of the product. You’ll see a tab in the left rail that says “Saved.” This is like a list of little reminders.
Hope that helps! :-)
Saved is a great tool but it's definitely not a replacement for a reminder.
This item is still queued up in the backlog. No additional details are available at this moment.
I'm seeing "Create a team using an existing team as a template" option which is a great step in the right direction. I had hoped that work done on the associate SharePoint site would also be replicated when using this feature but that doesn't currently happen. One of the keys ways we've used Teams is for communication for cross-team projects. Those often have things like issue/risk lists in SharePoint. On-prem we would have a SharePoint site template where these were pre-configured and tying that into the Teams model would be awesome!
Thanks for following our suggestion to vote this up on SharePoint. It worked! SharePoint has confirmed that they have already started working on this and I’ll be getting an ETA from them after the holidays. -Suphatra
Please tie this request with https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/18750568-renaming-a-microsoft-team. When the name is changed in Teams all the corresponding places where it's leveraged should be changed at the same time. That includes Planner, Stream, etc.
I think there's a strong case to be made for switching from folders to a unique document library for each Teams channel. Sync would be easier and if channel level permissions are actually in the pipeline it seems like a more natural fit.
You can make these edits using a cmdlet, please see the documentation at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/users-and-groups/Set-UnifiedGroup?view=exchange-ps
This should help you make the edits requested in this topic.
@Jeff I couldn't agree more that hand correcting this by an admin with PowerShell a Team owner is almost always going to be the one doing the renaming is an awful answer. This also ignores the obvious additional requirement of changing the SharePoint site collection URL.
Microsoft support has told me that the Team Activity was intentionally removed. I think it was a much nicer way of viewing everything that's going on across Teams. I do agree that I don't understand when items drop off of the various feeds though. I'm going to have to get much better at savings conversations since it's hard to go back and find anything.
This is in the works! Fill out this survey if you want to influence the feature: https://microsoft.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_esTxHdABLQxKLvn
Due to prioritization of other work-items this has been moved to the backlog. We will update when it is being actively worked on again.

I agree that the fonts are hard to read in dark mode when a light (yellow for example) highlight is choosen and the font is white.
