Hi everyone, thanks for your comments in this thread, tweets, emails and calls. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions at all; I’m here for YOU! I’ll continue to update this ticket as we make progress towards MSA.
Just in case you missed it, there is a FAQs in the Guest Access Help Article. Just click the “FAQs” tab here: https://aka.ms/GuestAccessHelp We’re updating them this week with new questions we’ve been getting, like “Is Guest Access available for Business Essentials licenses?” (The answer is yes.)
Lastly, the team is starting work on Federation so I’ve broken out Federation into its own UserVoice ticket. Please vote and subscribe to updates on its progress here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/20566714
Hi everyone, it looks like this got put as “declined” — I actually have a best practice on my team to NEVER put anything as declined (you’ll see some older tickets have that, that was before my time, folks). So I’m sorry this got slipped through — its not a decline, for the very reason that Mark points out below.
Also special thanks to Andreas for seeing the activity on this closed item and bringing it to my attention.
And thank you to all of YOU for helping us makes Teams better!
Start off your weekend with good news: we’re working on this!
Thanks to everyone who brought this feature to the forefront and shared feedback on their use case scenario. Very helpful!
I wrote some more product updates on today’s Teams blog in my weekly column, “Weekend Reading” —
I’m sure you’ve heard the news by now: Teams and Skype for Business will converge into one. Here’s the official blog post: https://blogs.office.com/en-us/2017/09/25/a-new-vision-for-intelligent-communications-in-office-365/
And other articles for reference:

Skype For Business is a very useful tool. For me it is a glorified phone with vídeo, whiteboard and other features.
One of the main features for me is it that allows recording of the meeting (planned for teams as well).
But sometimes you just want to call someone (not in a team) in a enhanced meeting. S4B is great for that. You should integrate Teams and S4B.
If you were at Microsoft Ignite last week, you may have been lucky enough to see this feature demoed.
If you weren’t there — don’t worry! You can still see images from the demo and read all about our meeting magic on this blog: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Teams-Ignite-Blog/MVP-Live-Blog-Understanding-meetings-in-Microsoft-Teams/ba-p/111703

1 - Integrate the recording with Stream or Office Videos.
2 - Dont make it just a vídeo like in S4B - Look at what Adobe does with Adobe Connect. You can interact with the recording of the meeting and change the focus of your playback from vídeo to chat or attachments.
