There is a volume control, the problem is they have hidden it away, and Teams resets it for every call. Hit the 3 dots at the top of the call and click "Device Settings". There's a volume slider there. I actually wish that they would just respect the system volume, because Teams sets the volume too high for me each time and I have to adjust it down for every call. Adjusting the system volume does nothing for the teams call and I can't use my keyboard volume keys :(

You can already do this and have been able to for some time. The problem is they have hidden the volume control away. Hit the 3 dots at the top of the call and click "Device Settings". Why does Teams insist on having - and automatically setting - its own volume slider?? Why not simply trust that users can control their OWN volume settings using the system volume control that's been there in one form or another for more than 20 years? I see almost no benefits, but the problems of this unusual decision are many: keyboard/hotkey volume controls don't work for Teams calls, neither does the task bar volume slider, many people wonder why they can't control the volume of calls, the level that Teams sets at the start of every call doesn't suit every person or hardware configuration, the *actual* volume slider is hidden behind a couple of clicks in Device Settings, instead of being visible to the user on the call (!!). Please just use the system volume level, or at LEAST show the volume slider somewhere prominent on the call.

And yes, I'm still having issues.

Go and vote over here (not that there has been any action from MS on this for the past ~5 YEARS): https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16935160-use-same-date-and-time-format-as-in-my-computer-s
