We have been migrating thousands of people to Teams Voice over the past 12 months, and this question keeps coming up. Quiet hours should mean that the Teams app stays totally quiet. No calls, no chat alerts, no mention alerts... no beeps, boops, bops, or rings. Personally I think it would be great if phone calls followed the same notification rules as chats and channels: Give us the option to manage calls separately (and yes, I suppose I can always forward calls to voice mail) or the same - so that I don't get calls when I am busy or away.

Please put this back on the front burner. This is fundamental call queue stuff. We need real time data to provide efficient phone support. As it stands right now we hear all too often, "I tried to call but couldn't get through to anyone" even though we thought we were staffed adequately. We have our Teams queue set to transfer to voice mail when there are more than 2 people waiting in the queue, or when the wait time exceeds a couple of minutes, but such features do not make up for a lack of information.

Same issue with AirPods Pro on a new Dell XPS 13 inch laptop. It sounds okay when I select stereo audio, but that won’t work for Teams because I need the mic. With HFAG audio there is a background hiss even when there is no audio to hear, and the volume has to be set at lowest level. My workaround is to join with audio from my iPhone and join from my laptop without audio so I have the larger display. It’s annoying. Seems more like a Windows issue than a Teams issue though.

Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.
