I'd really like to see the ability to collapse a channel into some type of conversation summary, one line per conversation, showing subject, last updated date, contributors (perhaps), and perhaps a summary of last comment (not to wrap past a single line). Conceptually, like an email inbox view, one line per conversation. This could help in scanning conversations, for drilling/expanding, but of course would require best practice use of subjects for all conversations, to be effective. Just sharing my supplementary thoughts on this request, and I've upvoted this request in its current form. Thanks

We have been iterating on different designs and are starting to test internally. I don’t have a timeframe but will keep you posted.
This request is still in the works. And it appears most people are interested in the ability to pin multiple items. I’ll circle back to the feature team and give them your additional feedback.
Unfortunately due to re-prioritization this item has slipped back onto the “backlog” for the time being.
I hope to see it move back into “working on it” soon and will continue to engage the feature team with your feedback.

Adding a subject line to a message makes it a lot more scannable for everyone else. To do that, first you need to expand your compose box by clicking format icon. From there, just type the subject line you want in the first line of your expanded compose box.
I definitely see where to add the Title (and that capability is key), but I think some users have concern above it not propagating to the saved discussion view (the title). It's confusing/imprecise for toggling between key conversations, from that saved conversation reference point. This capability would add a lot of value
or ability to "alias" conversations, specific to an individual user (or labels, perhaps)
