This feature is on the backlog. I will update you when we have more details to share.
Thank you for your feedback! The team has reviewed this request and has added it to our backlog for both Standard (Public) to Private and Private to Standard (Public) channel conversion. We will share an update as soon as it’s available.
Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

Just like others have stated.. a Pinned post needs to be in the members faces. Noticeable every time they are in that channel until the post is unpinned. Right now this function is quite useless. Would like to see that this becomes a higher priority with many business teams working remotely with a high probability of continuing to stay remote. As a manager of a production group I need to be able to post a message that is pinned to the top of the chat channel to ensure that the post doesn't get lost and my team who works different hours of the day don't miss important action items.
This feature is now on the backlog. I will update you when we have more details to share.
This continues to be on our backlog due to prioritization of other work items. We will update when there is more to share.

Group Calendar is a priority for the team, and the feature team is continuing work on it. You’ll start to see some incremental improvements. We look forward to sharing more details and timeframes soon.
Thank you for your patience. We are thrilled to that replying to a chat message in the desktop client is now available as part of our Public Preview. It is expected to roll out to the public ring over the next several weeks.
