We are working on improving the Microsoft Whiteboard in Teams to include new features including sticky notes, pen and ink, and drag and drop capabilities. These features will enable team members who don’t have access to a touchscreen or Surface Hub to participate in whiteboarding sessions during Teams meetings. You can read more details here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/blog/2020/07/08/reimagining-virtual-collaboration-future-work-learning/.

I'd like to see it be possible that each student has their own copy of a whiteboard to use in a lesson. I know this is kind of doable in OneNote, but as a live lesson resource it's a bit clunky.

Just something that the students can write/type on that a teacher can quickly click on to see what they're written.
