This needs to happen! It's way to easy to briefly read a message that requires follow up but not be able to set any sort of way to remind, or schedule that follow up.Jeramy shared this idea ·
Adding any emoji as a reaction remains under review.
I am marking this as partially done to let you know a new reactions bar with Like, Heart, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Angry has begun rolling out to all users.
I would agree with most of the sentiments here, glad to add the additional reactions, but the implementation is less than ideal.
Thumbs up = most used and now farthest from the ideal location.
The other reactions while useful don't cover the full business case uses of the emojis like many other posters have mentioned, these are to socially focused.
The auto-popup of them when hovering over the messages is very distracting
The ellipsis for the additional actions should still be visible on the message without having to hover.
Step in the right direction, but overall there is some serious room for improvement.
#2 please, support the standard unicode.
Yes, we just switched from slack and everyone in the office really misses the reactions - super great functionality to show that someone understands/agrees/hates an idea or suggestion without having to read through a zillion replies. Gives users the ability to hold informal office polls and figure out if we're doing one thing or another. Glad this is marked as planned...
This feature request is still on in the backlog. No new updates available at this time.
It's important because there are many times I need to send a file to a teammate but have no reason to have a copy of the file saved locally for myself.
This is in internal testing. I don’t have exact timing for you, but wanted to let you know it is coming!
This feature is still being reviewed by the feature team. No decision has been made yet. I’ll keep you posted.
Hi everyone, thanks so much for this request.
We have thought this through and decided to prioritize other user-requested items, so this one has been declined. But please don’t stop telling us what you want, because we’re still working to get many of those done. We’re listening and appreciate your support and patience.
This feature request is still being worked upon.
I am still trying to get details on what we could expect for Cortana in Teams and will share examples once something is available.
After careful review the feature team has declined this request.

The zoom feature has released to the public ring. Using CRTL + or CTRL – zoom in and out on a Windows PC.
I need to correct the information I provided last month about MAC. It appears the MAC version is still in testing and hasn’t yet gone out to the public. It is “In Testing” but will be coming to the public soon!
The item tracking this specific update can be found at: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/admin/v3/suggestions/16933183/activity
There now is a UI element that tells you your current zoom level and a Setting within the UI to preset your zoom preference.
Since the zoom feature could very well cover the vast majority of user needs, based on the majority of comments and feedback, I will flag this item as Partially Done.
Thank you for all the feedback and support!
Yes this is something that is def needed - In addition, the ability to configure a notification when specific hot words are used is super useful. There are some teams/channels I only want notification of at certain times of day or if the message contains certain hotwords.
This item is still on the backlog.
This is still under review by the feature team.
This work is officially in the plans now. We will update as we have more information for you.
Clippy is flattered by all the attention but plans to continue his retirement.
Yes please replace tbot with clippy!!!
We have been iterating on different designs and are starting to test internally. I don’t have a timeframe but will keep you posted.
Hi everyone — we have implemented this on the web version.
We will not be implementing it in the desktop app or mobile app due to other high priority engineering items.
Let me know if you have any questions!
