We have been iterating on different designs and are starting to test internally. I don’t have a timeframe but will keep you posted.Anonymous commented
Newer Teams users are constantly starting new posts when they mean to reply. With the high rate that intelligent people make this error, it's clearly a UI problem. Leads to fragmented posts like "Great question, what do you think Janet?" where Janet then is missing the rest of the context to know what question she's being asked.

This plus the lack of reaction emojis (https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16911544-allow-any-emoji-as-a-reaction-not-just-thumbs-up) is a brutal combination. You can't emote :heavy_check_mark:, say, to indicate "done" - but then after you reply "done" you get notified for every other person who replies "done"
Adding any emoji as a reaction remains under review.
I am marking this as partially done to let you know a new reactions bar with Like, Heart, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Angry has begun rolling out to all users.
