This feature is planned and we’ll update as we know more details.
Regarding recurring meeting invites, the meeting link is unique so you can use the same meeting link for all instances.
I think static conference id is the worst possible idea - my meetings are separate and especially given the fact that there is persistent chat associated with these meetings, they should all be separate. Having one static conference with all things mingled up would be insane for me.
With respect to having weekly meetings, I am unsure why a recurring meeting is not the right solution. The meeting join link as well as the pstn conf-id would remain same.
The phone number is already clickable hyperlink with the meeting code embedded in there. Are you guys not able to click it?
The phone numbers are already clickable and have the meeting code embedded so its already a one click join - what are you guys talking about?
Could you maybe post a screenshot?
This feature is still in the backlog.
Any update on this? It's been 2 years since the original request and we're coming up to a year without feedback from the Microsoft team.
We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.
Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.
All the "Consultants" who are suffering. Everyone has this problem. Think outside the box - like consultant should do.

Ye4s Please, we need this!!!
There are two parts to this topic:
1) Bypass the lobby for PSTN: The ability for admins and organizers to be able to specify a meeting option to bypass the PSTN lobby independently of the VoIP lobby — This is supported in the public ring now.
2) Admit from lobby for PSTN: Organizer having ability to admit PSTN attendees from the lobby, when the organizer has joined via PSTN with a PIN. – This is on the backlog. Please note: by choosing the meeting option to bypass the PSTN lobby, your attendees will join.
Please check your TeamsMeetingPolicy - most likely AutoAdmittedUsers are only EveryoneInSameCompany - this means phone users (who are currently treated as anonymous users since there is no easy way to validate their identity), will wait in lobby till explicitly admitted.
The team is working on the API, and we will post as we have more information.
In the meantime, for Embrava, please note they have announced presence support for TeamsOnly mode with their version 5.2.16.
You should experience significant improvements in copy & paste of images within Teams, as well as to & from Teams. We are aware of a few remaining issues, but the most common cases are resolved.
Thanks again for your patience on this one.
I suggest some automated regression tests for the future?
This feature item is still in the works. We will keep you posted as we have new info from the feature team.
Still waiting. How hard can this be ?
Some of the meme captions cover up the meme picture.
Calls from chat are logged under call history in the Calls app, including the time of call and duration. Please try this and let us know your feedback.
Hi, I came here looking for the same thing. If I am in a chat with someone and they ask a question, I might quickly hit "call" to answer the question by calling them. But Teams doesn't log that call. The next line would be the next chat and there is no record the call every took place. Skype shows all calls in line with chat as expected. Desperately missing from Teams.
Yes! We have many contractors, customers etc that use public Skype. Not being able to communicate with them without using two separate platforms is hindering our adoption of the Teams app and we have 3,000 users. Come on MS, that would be a lot of licenses you'd sell!
Thanks for following our suggestion to vote this up on SharePoint. It worked! SharePoint has confirmed that they have already started working on this and I’ll be getting an ETA from them after the holidays. -Suphatra
For Heavens sake Microsoft.
PAY FOR A TEAM TO REVIEW THE PRODUCT BEFORE LAUNCH.
We the public are not your beta (or alpha in this case) testers.
This item is still being reviewed and pending a decision. No new details at this time.
I wish there was at least a user setting that let this happen. It's annoying that I get added to a team and if I forget to follow it I will miss out on a day or more of posts until I remember to follow it.
