    Hi Gino,

As you can see in the comments, this feature does create a lot of frustration for the people that want / or are forced to move to MSTeams from some other tool (any other chat tool).

I have been following this topic since Q1 this year and must say that this is a huge disappointment in the way you did communicate progress and value customer feedback. After more than 6 Months of having Teams and Slack in place because chatting in Teams was not practical I did now (after guiding People to move onto MSTeams) Drop our whole Team site again after no progress is visible on this topic.

Suggesting work in progress without any outcome after so much time does for me and my colleges destroy the trust into this product and the people in charge of it.

I do agree with most of the previous comments, the survey does not in any kind match what I expected. (To make it simple I expected something that replaces Slack in our Offices, which means it should feel the same). The current design seems like somebody mixed the discussion and promotion (wall based) approach that yammer uses, and a direct / group chat.

The following is just a personal opinion:
For the time that has past since i first came across this Idea the output is not matching anything I did expect. What is preventing you from releasing the changes you made in 4 Months and than narrowing down the Problems further.? (The increased with and so on). I did expect the first release of chat improvements 2 Months ago, while we are still filling surveys.

Is there a schedule behind this feature? A bit more than a month ago a praised the agile and fast response to the demand of creating a compact and information rich chat layout. Today i just keep saying that we wait for important features over and over again.

This feature request is still being worked upon.

I am still trying to get details on what we could expect for Cortana in Teams and will share examples once something is available.

Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.
