This is still being worked upon. Though I don’t have any details I do know the devs are really digging into this one, so I hope to have more information in the near future to share with you all.
My notifications on desktop have stopped working altogether. Unacceptable.
I really like the suggestion of creating an alarm on a message, so you come back to it. I’ve passed this on to our engineering team.
Meanwhile, here’s another feature you can utilize for the same purpose — use our “bookmark” button, which is in the upper right corner of every message. This will save that message or thread directly to your profile. To access your saved messages, just click your face in the upper left corner of the product. You’ll see a tab in the left rail that says “Saved.” This is like a list of little reminders.
Hope that helps! :-)
Need To-Do integration...
So, maybe the answer is to turn link previews on by default, but allow posters to remove the preview before sharing their post, or even after, if it isn't necessary.
It has been three months since the last update, so checking in here to let you know this is still being actively worked on. I really appreciate your patience as we work on this.
I hope you’re all enjoying the holidays, and have a very Happy New Year!
Without being able to see meeting content and work in Teams simultaneously makes it unusable.
Unfortunately due to re-prioritization this item has slipped back onto the “backlog” for the time being.
I hope to see it move back into “working on it” soon and will continue to engage the feature team with your feedback.
I'm experiencing the same issue. Very frustrating when I'm trying to drive adoption by sharing links as I would in LinkedIn.
Hi Everyone – thank you for your patience. As was commented by someone below, Suphatra is no longer at Microsoft, but rest assured we are working on this feature.
Just checking in on this one...
...this is paramount...need this!!!!
This shortcoming is deterring people in my organization from adopting the tool and causing them to seek alternatives. It must be addressed as a top priority. I'm evangelizing this product, but it isn't delivering on a core need.
Can't wait to see this one go live!
This would be an incredibly helpful tool for Team owners.
Thank you so much for your support of the product. This request was particularly helpful and we appreciate your engagement in the surveys, comments and forum to help us design this feature. Please continue to submit ideas!
For this item, we’re making great progress. It has now entered TAP validation with a small group of tenants. Will let you know how that goes!
This is critical to grassroots adoption success!
This is great for IT managers, but what about End Users? It would be awesome if end users (project managers) had a way to see how people are engaging with an individual team.
Hi — My apologies for the delay in updating this item. We rolled out a fix a year ago for a specific issue of status changing to away in Teams when you were still active on the device. We thought this had fixed the “incorrect status” issue. From comments below, it sounds like people are still seeing issues.
If you are still having issues, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with device info and detailed repro steps to email@example.com.
This is still being worked upon. I hope to have more details in the next couple months.
Please know the team is actively working on this feature.
Any update? This is preventing me from suggesting Planner as a solution for a large project.
This request is still under review.
This would be a wonderful improvement.
I agree it isn't helpful to have a Wiki for each channel. At the same token, without being able to add screenshots, the Wiki is very limited. Image and embed support, maybe???
