Also, to Tomas Fröjdö's point, if you create teams based on departments, and departments have areas within that specialize in specific things, you don't necessarily want to create individual teams for those 3-4 man areas (Accounting, IT, HR, etc within the support department for example) with all the trappings therein (Sharepoint site, email list, etc etc). You just want to invite a small group from the team to a meeting, members who happen to be in the same department.

Perhaps this isn't how the feature was intended, but I'd argue it's how it's perceived to be used.

Same complaint. This works the opposite of what you'd expect. There are people in our team that should meet and it's useful for this meeting to appear in the channel in case others wish to join, but the e-mail that goes out should go to those specified in the required field. If someone wants to invite the entire team, they should be able to by mentioning the team name in the required field but that shouldn't happen automatically. Unfortunately we've had people showing up thinking they were supposed to and or apologizing for not being able to make it even though they're not invited.

Same problem, same use case. I use Snag It to record 10-30 second videos of tasks that I can quickly export and share over instant messaging. I’m able to share the GIF over both Slack and Teams, but only Slack allows the user to expand the image to full size.

You should experience significant improvements in copy & paste of images within Teams, as well as to & from Teams. We are aware of a few remaining issues, but the most common cases are resolved.

Thanks again for your patience on this one.

Once support for Windows 10 native notifications is released, users who choose to use Windows notifications will be able to utilize Windows OS specific settings for the length of time to display notifications. Mac does not have an OS specific setting, so will not have the support.

All we need is an option to change the timeout of when notifications disappear, with "Never" being a choice. Presumably capable of being x'd out. I have people in our org who are moving _away_ from Teams because they insist on an IM client that has something in their face until they dismiss it.

This is the #1 problem we have with Teams UI at the moment. It's too easy to start a new conversation. Perhaps Teams could sense whether the new conversation is a reply to the previous one (much like how Outlook detects whether an attachment is mentioned but not attached to an email). Otherwise, when clicking back into the program the cursor should default to the current conversation unless someone explicitly clicks on New Conversation. In practice, this doesn't happen all the time for all users.

This needs to be added for the contact list to be useful. Deleting a contact from one section (e.g. Favorites) and adding it again to another in order to move it seems a bit much :)

I work in Facilities Maintenance. We have a few instances in which student employees are unable to access Teams when used by full-time employees. This discourages the use of Teams in those instances, which is a shame because when it comes to a collaborative project Teams can serve as a replacement for e-mail with long CC chains or the use of a mailing list (losing persistent conversation).
