if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.
Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.
Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:
- Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook
- Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams
- Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook
See this post for more information:
We are continuing to work on this feature. As with Windows notifications, we are also doing work to give users the choice between Teams notifications & Mac notifications.
We will update you as work progresses.

I will add that the Teams notifications look nice but they are very large on macOS and cannot be swiped out of the way like native macOS notifications.
Often the notifications on macOS get in the way of things like the Teams controls when the app is maximized or controls in other applications you need to click on.
You can solve this by:
1) Making the notifications smaller
2) Using native macOS notifications
3) or move notifications to the bottom right corner like you have on the Windows app which doesn't get in the way.
This item is still under review by the feature team. I have no details as to when a decision might happen.
We have raised the priority of this work item, and it is currently being worked on. We don’t have any dates to share at this point, but will update when we have new status. Thank you!
The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today. The feature team is continuing to work on support for multiple accounts on desktop. We’ll keep you posted as we have more details.
This item is still under consideration by the feature team.
We are working on a design with more density in mind. Until this design is solidified we are putting this item back to Under Review.
The team has not made a decision on whether to move forward with this feature. We will update when we have new status to share.
