Actually I did further testing and I find that the most recent versions of Teams for Windows X64 are displaying notifications OK when using full screen REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION:

    1.4.00.65531 released 2021.03.04 works OK
    1.4.00.6862 released 2021.03.09 works OK

It's strange that the bug was fixed in the 1.4.00.914 released 2021.01.09 but then the bug was reintroduced in versions 1.4.00.3484 released 2021.02.05 and 1.4.00.4167 released 2021.02.10

Dear fudgi, for me 1.4.00.65531 does NOT solve the problem. If I am using REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION in full-screen mode then the Teams inbound call notifications pop-up does NOT appear on top. If I have operational speakers then I can hear the ringing, then I must minimize the REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION window to see the Teams inbound call notification.

TEAMS answering calls used to work fine from March to December. However during the last month we have had two notifications problem:

PROBLEM #1: All notifications stop (TEAMS, Outlook, etc.) and you must reboot the PC to fix the notifications.

PROBLEM #2: When working on a remote computer using the combination of a VPN client and "Remote Desktop Connection", when an inbound TEAMS call is ringing we need to minimize the "Remote Desktop Connection" but we don't see a notification pop-up on top (on the local computer) so the user must frantically minimize all their windows to find the notification pop-up

    WORKAROUNDS FOR PROBLEM #2

After minimization of "Remote Desktop Connection" (to get back to the local computer) the following workarounds can be used to quickly answer the incoming TEAMS call on the local computer:

    1. Press [Control+Shift+S] to answer TEAMS call using keyboard shortcut

    2. Press [Windows+M] to minimize all windows then click answer icon in pop-up window

    3. Right-click task bar and choose "Show Desktop" then click answer icon in pop-up window

    4. Locally use a PC with two monitors, run "Remote Desktop Connection" on the non-primary monitor- you will see the TEAMS pop-up notification 100% of the time.
