    i don't know why the system thinks i support this feature (maybe it merged it erroneously with another idea i supported?). I do NOT support this feature at all. Chat and Teams are completely different and putting them on the same tab would be horribly confusing and would make it a lot easier to post a message to an entire team instead of a couple of individuals (with possibly disastrous effect). Please consider this a down vote from me!

    What would be nice is if chats allow threaded conversations, which has nothing to do with the proposed feature here. Whomever merged the 2 ideas made a big mistake.

    disagree with this completely. Teams and Chats are not very distinct concepts and server very different purposes.

    Thank you for your continued feedback. As many people have pointed out, this is available on mobile today. Support for replying to a specific message is on the backlog for desktop. I’ll let you know when we have progress to share. Thanks.

    can we get threaded conversations in chats? i see a lot of folks gripe about the threaded conversations in teams and about the "reply" button, but these seems more to be complaints about notifications and being able to see new conversations together with new replies to conversations.

    Threaded conversations are really useful and it would be nice to be able to have these in chats, especially chat groups where several conversations can go on at the same time.

    looks like it may be due to the new settings for "trending" and "suggested" in case others are seeing that issue

    Providing a bit more information to help get more votes here: with Skype, we can use the "call/answer" and "hnag up" buttons on speakerphones such as the Jabra Speak. it would be nice if these worked also with teams so we don't have to find our mouse and click on the right button when we get a call on Teams: we can just click on the "answer" button on the speakerphone.

    you should consider merging this requested feature with "Follow-up flag when someone doesn't respond right away" so that it gets more vote since it is pretty much the same thing.

    If you are experiencing these crashes, we would like to investigate. Logs will help us do so.

    If you’d like to send logs, please:
    - type (windows key) + R
    - type “(percent) appdata (percent) \ Microsoft \ Teams \ logs.txt” into the open box (without the spaces, parenthesis, and quotes)
    - save the file
    - send the log file that you saved to teamsml@microsoft.com

    hi Suphatra, there is currently a badge on the Chats tab in the nav bar. i was assuming it showed the number of unread messages, so i guess i'm a bit confused by your question, but then again i am also confused by the original suggestion (the suggestion i voted for was somehow merged into this one, not sure why).

    Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.
