Thanks for the update Warren. I don't think much more feedback would be required here as I've read through all the comments many times over last year.
In an ideal world there needs to be a way to move an entire Channel (as is) from one Team to another. This accounts for those where items move to different teams over the lifecycle, or for people like me that set things up one way early on and now realise I'd like to move some Channels around now that I have my Team structure right!
Keep up the good work.
Sort of parallel with the already existing request to be able to Move Channels from one TEAM into another TEAM.
I think Merging Channels is a great idea too.

Hi Suphatra, we haven't used any workarounds as yet to move channels. I do have channels in the wrong Team, now I've figured out a good structure. But have been waiting to move them.
For me it wouldn't need to be a feature that happens Synchronously. Perhaps it could be an Asynchronous feature. Meaning you elect to move a Channel to another Team and it asks you to confirm, and warns this will happen within 24 hours. Then back-end you guys implement a scheduled migration of the Channel via Powershell/scripting or similar.
I assume the problems here would be more figuring out how to load-balance all these requests and perform them on a "nightly" basis without harming performance across the board.
In summary, for me it would not bother me at all if the moving of channels was done overnight or even within 48 hours behind the scenes.
I also started a few channels in a Team early on that doesn't fit now I have organised things better.
Definitely need the ability to Move a Channel to another Team

We acknowledge the customer demand for Private Channels and have been hard at work on it. Private Channels is currently in preview with a select group of customers. We expect to release the feature to the public later this Fall, and will update here when we are starting to roll out to all customers. Great, news… this item is now actively being worked upon! I just want to clarify that the multiple accounts is moving along for mobile.

We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.
Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.
This item is still under review by the feature team. I have no details as to when a decision might happen.
Just my opinion, but I generally have most Teams/Channels as private and invite those team members that need to be involved.
I do get the bold Channel names for recent messages but this isn't that noticeable in a long list of channels.
I would love it if any new messages in the channel also gets a number count, but perhaps in a GRAY oval instead of RED? So red for @mentions, gray for unread normal non-mentions
Again this is just my opinion and suits how I use Teams.

Currently we have Teams defaulted to show you the first (up to five) channels ever created. If you want to add more channels to your left rail view, just click the ellipses next to the channel name and select “Favorite”. When you favorite the channel, it will then be “pinned” to your left rail under that team name.
Try that and let me know if that meets your needs!
As mentioned in the prior status, the channel limit was raised from 100 to 200.
In the near future a retention limit will be set so you can still go back and reinstate a channel you had deleted. Once the retention period has expired then the channel will get a hard delete which will free up the space and no longer count toward the 200 channel limit.
This will help with some of the issues you have voiced in the comments below.
But I understand many of you wish the limit to be further increased. I will continue to provide your votes and comments to the feature team.
I haven't run into this problem yet, but I think it would be advisable to at least make this very clear to users when they are adding Channels?
Possibly display this on the Team's page? Channels 14/50 for example.
What is the exact Channel limit per Team currently?
