    I’m excited to share that I got to use this in our experimental settings the other day. We’ve built it and are testing it internally. I’ll let you know once it moves up in the validation rings!

    relating to this it also will only tag if case is matched. @Channelname will take vs @channelname will not. I would like to see both @mention the channel. I would also like it if the generic "@channel" mentioned the channel. With the current behavior you need to type @channel then wait for the dialog to appear and hit enter for it to change over to @channelname otherwise it inserts as plain text.

    As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!

    Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.

    Hi guys, turns out that we put this on the previous release notes but it actually isn’t releasing until this week.

    The zoom feature has released to the public ring. Using CRTL + or CTRL – zoom in and out on a Windows PC.

    I need to correct the information I provided last month about MAC. It appears the MAC version is still in testing and hasn’t yet gone out to the public. It is “In Testing” but will be coming to the public soon!

    There now is a UI element that tells you your current zoom level and a Setting within the UI to preset your zoom preference.

    Since the zoom feature could very well cover the vast majority of user needs, based on the majority of comments and feedback, I will flag this item as Partially Done.

    I personally like them being in one place. In my role I always have activate conversations simultaneously happening both in channels and private chats (DMs). So having to click back and forth after new responses in each gets old quickly. If there is enough of a user base that wants both perhaps make it a changeable preference.

    The ability to turn off emojis is still being worked upon.

    Also, there is work to create a compact mode which will also help reduce white space… which in turn will impact some of the complaints are far as wasted space from the emojis as well, that have been voiced in the comments.
