The team continues to make progress on this. We will share more details as we have them.
Just hover over a person’s avator and click the org chart icon in the screen that appears. Or you can click the “Organization” tab in your 1:1 chat with them. If you want to move around your company’s org chart, just click the different people who appear in the chart.
It looks like some people in the thread below have figured it out — we actually have this. You can start a chat both ways; the system will automatically recognize if this person is on Skype for Business or on Teams.
Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
This feature continues to be in the backlog, we will update when we have more details to share.
We’ve put this into planning! If you have additional feedback/ideas for how we can do this or how you’d like to see this done, please contribute to the thread on this item. You can also just ping me on Twitter at @skprufo if you have any questions.
Thank you for helping us make Teams better and better.
As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.
Alex & the Teams team
This item is still under consideration by the feature team.
We are continuing to work on this feature. As with Windows notifications, we are also doing work to give users the choice between Teams notifications & Mac notifications.
We will update you as work progresses.
We are working on a design with more density in mind. Until this design is solidified we are putting this item back to Under Review.
