Thanks for following our suggestion to vote this up on SharePoint. It worked! SharePoint has confirmed that they have already started working on this and I’ll be getting an ETA from them after the holidays. -Suphatra
We have around 700 Mac users and are using MS Teams as our main internal collaboration platform since April last year. This month we are replacing Join.me and Webex by making Teams the default online meeting app for all staff. This ability to schedule from within outlook is a important usability improvement - would be great to see this at the start of Q3 2018 rather than the end of Q3. We are in the MS Teams TAP program, happy to be an early test site for the next version of Outlook for Mac too
This is a common use case for executive assistants that schedule meetings on behalf of the people they assist.
This request is still queued within our backlog. No new details yet.
Looks like this may be covered here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16958344-more-status-options-custom-status-and-out-of-off
Yes this type of "out of office assistant" would be very useful - could potentially use the same or be linked to the Office 365 Exchange out of office assistant so people can be prompted to approach an alternative contact.

Unfortunately we hit some snags and this has moved back to “working on it”. The team is working to make some corrections and I hope to have a release date in the near future. I’ll keep you posted with what I hear.
This request is still working its way through the backlog. Nothing additional to report yet.
We’re pleased to announce the Teams client for Linux is now available for preview. Please see details at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Teams-Blog/Microsoft-Teams-is-now-available-on-Linux/ba-p/1056267.
Please check out the Q&A forum here – https://docs.microsoft.com/answers/topics/teams.html.
Very disappointing! - We are are development shop that uses Windows, MAC and Linux. Not having a full linux client is really getting in the way of making this a corporate tool across the organisation. It is great to see feature parity between the Windows and Mac clients - no having this for Linux is a big gap to convince the development community to take this up across the board.
Hi guys! Thanks for submitting this. I totally hear you and have experienced this as well.
The good news is, we’re actively working on this. We recently pushed an update that improved performance when channel switching and scrolling. So this should be considerably better for you.
We’ll continue to make improvements on performance, so stay tuned for updates.
Keep the suggestions coming and thank you for helping us make Teams awesome!
Performance has been and continues to be a big focus area for Teams. One main area we have made improvements in is responsiveness for the most frequent user actions of switching between Chat, Channel, and Activity. We are also focused on reducing resource consumption and application load time. More improvements are on the way.
Item 1 and 2 are Under Review.
Item 3 has been Completed.
I’ll keep you posted as I hear more on this request.
We’ve put this into our road map! Stay tuned.

As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.
