Unfortunately we hit some snags and this has moved back to “working on it”. The team is working to make some corrections and I hope to have a release date in the near future. I’ll keep you posted with what I hear.

Drag and drop is more intuitive. Especially since the Outlook option only sees the top level directory. We typically need to drop into channel folders. So with Outlook, I can drop it into the root of the SharePoint library, then I have to go into SharePoint and move it to the correct folder.

I would also like to see a dropdown list of channels from the Team name at the top of the screen. We have over 400 active teams and searching for teams are easy. However, a lot of channels have the same name (e.g. Power BI Project) and the search does not help. So we get to the team and have to select the team, then select channels, then select the channel we are looking for. Too many clicks.

As the last status states, we have been testing for several months.  Although many people have asked for this feature, we received a similar amount of feedback from other users that they prefer the Teams notifications and don’t want them changed.  We are currently testing a feature for users to choose between Teams notifications & Windows notifications.

We will update you as work progresses.

Due to a priority shift this request has slipped to the backlog. I hate to bring bad news. I will continue to provide the feature team your feedback and votes.
Hopefully this will move back up in the queue soon.

Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:

    - Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook

    - Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams

    - Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

Still under review by the feature team. Nothing new to report at this time.

Agree with the comments on this. We create a Team for each customer and use channels for projects. It would be awesome to be able to create a category and assign the O365 group or AAD group at that level. It would simplify management of the groups a lot. (e.g. I belong to over 300 O365 groups, making that a worthless organization mechanism). All of this is further complicated when using Power BI, SharePoint and other Office 365 tools that require O365 groups to manage.

Once your tenant is using UPS (unified presence service), you should no longer have issues where DND changes back to available.

If you are on UPS, and are experiencing this issue, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with any details to teamsml@microsoft.com.

    Thanks all!

While entering the issue here today, it reset me again. (3/29/2018). I will send logs from today. This is very frustrating as I need the same functionality that is in SfB.
