This should be put on a very high priority. It isn't fun to support both products with so much overlap, and neither work awesomely. Different teams only use Skype...Others only use Teams. Please completely integrate to avoid all the fuss and confusion. Then polish the heck out of it, and iron out all the major bugs.

Just build all the features into the browser including video, calling, etc. That would eliminate any need for a thick client. I thought this is why the web was invented, no?
Don't forget an IRC gateway like Slack has. Not Linux specific, but generally related.
This gained a lot of traction five months ago and seems to have tappered off. Now that we’ve created “Follow a channel” — do you still have a business need for this feature? If so, could you share that information in the thread here on UserVoice, under this item.
