Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

Due to a priority shift this request has slipped to the backlog. I hate to bring bad news. I will continue to provide the feature team your feedback and votes.
Hopefully this will move back up in the queue soon.-Warren

One thing to keep in mind is the user limit.. Think right now it's 999 users per team.. I'm guessing this has to do with how Outlook groups is the backbone and all the resources it spins up for a new team.. Ideally some sort of a "lite team" which doesn't have this hard limit on the number of users is needed.. This could basically be a conversation only team/channel..

Group Calendar is a priority for the team, and the feature team is continuing work on it. You’ll start to see some incremental improvements. We look forward to sharing more details and timeframes soon.
Thanks!

I would suggest having a separate option like in VS Code..

Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

We’re updating our command library all the time, so keep checking the menu in the command box to see what’s new by typing / or @.

The team is working on changes to the desktop client so recently opened tabs are kept in memory, as long as it doesn’t use too much memory.
I will keep you posted as we make further progress.

Sorry you’ve had a hard time with the log in process, check with your IT Department as they may have control over this.
Thank you,

Though the new GitHub Enterprise connector works, it has an issue. The message posted on a channel does not show the github avatar/profile pic of the user who trigger the commit/pull request etc.
