I posted a link to a Team channel last night - and posted the same link via a private message. Neither appeared as links - and neither unfurled (generated a preview) when displayed on the desktop client when I checked in the morning.
Thanks everyone for the clarifications to this request. Upon further technical review, we have decided to decline this request at this time.

Since it's up to the user whether or not a reply is in a thread or not, I wish that by dragging it to a thread it would send them a "suggestion" that the reply be added to the thread. Then they could decide - and they might remember to click "Reply" next time.
Currently there is a spinner showing that... something might be happening... but a progress bar would make more sense for an upload.
I've noticed this as well.
I have a microphone I got with the Xbox One Chatpad that I use for conference calls. If I start a call with it plugged in and then look at the audio settings (which I wish I could modify when not in a call!) I see my headset represented by blank entries in the drop-down for microphone and speaker selection in Teams call settings.
When I started the call without the headset, then plugged it in, nothing changed, I could click the drop downs but the laptop internal speakers and mic were the only choices.
My team has had this issue with an external microphone as well. Plugging in a USB "Rock Band" microphone made by Logitech results in the microphone being detected by the PC but unavailable to the Teams application.
This feature is still in the planning stage. No new updates are available at this time.
I’m switching the status to Partially Done.
The request for a Preview Team is still in the works. No new information is available at this time.
Team Discoverability is still being worked upon, no details are available at this time. If you support this idea please navigate over to the main topic and vote for it! https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/
Change Prompt: this has been completed
I've been added to a few teams. I created the first one and added co-workers. They seem to have been invited and notified via email. Since this was their first time using Office 365, they had to set that up as well - and IT was still fine-tuning some issues with authentication so it was a little rough for some people.
When I switched teams, I asked my new manager to consider using Teams as well since the new team had no collaboration tool - I think they were just using consumer Skype, though we all had Skype for Business. In that case, it was pretty easy for me - I got a notification of the new team and joined. IT was still sorting out some authentication issues that locked a few people out of the system.
Most recently, I was forced to change my password and due to an issue with two-factor authentication requirements, I got stuck in an authentication loop and couldn't access Teams. IT had to re-set my devices and then I was able to go in and properly complete the two-factor auth steps and then log in as normally.
Another Team was created by some colleagues - once again, they invited me, and since I was already set up with teams, joining was painless.
Overall, it's been pretty straightforward.
Hi Mark, we have this!
Just create a meeting in whatever channel you want this regular meeting to happen. Here’s how:
In the channel, click the little video button. In that window, you’ll see a little calendar button that says “Schedule a Meeting”. Click it.
This will open up a meeting window. Fill in the details of your meeting (name, add members, details, etc) and click the box that says “Repeat”.
Then send the meeting.
It will add the meeting to everyone’s Outlook calendars, which will appear in both Outlook and Teams.
Let me know if you have any questions!
We are working on supporting more than 4 videos in a Teams meeting. We don’t have a date to share, but will update as we get closer to completion.
Please check “Teams/Skype Consumer chat and calling interop” on the public roadmap at microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters.. for updates.
Seems to integrate with SfB already... and SfB integrates with Skype. Interesting decision... maybe after they get the Federation issue worked out?
