Once your tenant is using UPS (unified presence service), you should no longer have issues where DND changes back to available.
If you are on UPS, and are experiencing this issue, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with any details to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Yes, PLEASE! Everyone in the office complains about this and we have all resorted to closing teams for a screenshare if we have to share the same screen that teams pops up notifications.
1) If I set DND, please do not change my status to another available state. ever. like, never ever. unless I manually change out of this status. I set DND to get work done or maintain privacy and professionalism on a screenshare.
This is not a difficult concept and every other messaging programming offers this feature - so I really hope it is a "bug" and was not designed to play status roulette.
I understand that our calendars tie into this - but DND should be an override status and the only other status acceptable would be "offline". and if I log back in, please retain my DND state if it was on when I logged out of the application.
We are getting closer… the team is almost ready to rollout MacOS notification support internally for testing – we hope to have it to the public by the end of this quarter.
Performance has been and continues to be a big focus area for Teams. One main area we have made improvements in is responsiveness for the most frequent user actions of switching between Chat, Channel, and Activity. We are also focused on reducing resource consumption and application load time. More improvements are on the way.
This feature item is still in the works. We will keep you posted as we have new info from the feature team.
We acknowledge the customer demand for Private Channels and have been hard at work on it. Private Channels is currently in preview with a select group of customers. We expect to release the feature to the public later this Fall, and will update here when we are starting to roll out to all customers. We appreciate all the feedback you have provided to us on this forum and thank you for your patience.
The slash command changes are still in the works. I hope to have more details to share soon.
This feature request is still on in the backlog. No new updates available at this time.
You can search inside a specific channel by going to the channel, putting your search term in the search bar, then pressing enter on your keyboard. Then, you’ll see below the search bar a little tab that says “In this channel”. If you click that, you’ll see all the search results for the term in that specific channel.
If you have any questions, just tweet me at @skprufo.

YES! This would really help our team out to have this feature.
I would like the ability to control notification settings for each team and channel that I am included in. Similar to Skype, there are sometimes very active channels that I would only like to be notified of if I get an @mention, but my global settings should remain as my general notification preference for channels I have not configured more granularly
