The zoom feature has released to the public ring. Using CRTL + or CTRL – zoom in and out on a Windows PC.
I need to correct the information I provided last month about MAC. It appears the MAC version is still in testing and hasn’t yet gone out to the public. It is “In Testing” but will be coming to the public soon!
The item tracking this specific update can be found at: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/admin/v3/suggestions/16933183/activity
There now is a UI element that tells you your current zoom level and a Setting within the UI to preset your zoom preference.
Since the zoom feature could very well cover the vast majority of user needs, based on the majority of comments and feedback, I will flag this item as Partially Done.
Thank you for all the feedback and support!
The team continues to make progress on this. We will share more details as we have them.

+1 This would be so helpful, and love idea of having this as a tab, but keep in mind these would likely be TEAM calendars and not necessarily CHANNEL calendars. What if clicking on a Team Name opened the "View Team" option instead of expanding/contracting channels. Then, on the "View Team" page, next to Bots, could be Calendar and display the Team/Group calendar...
Channel calendars could still be a thing but maybe able to be added separately and could be used more for due dates/project scheduling (like pulling in Planner due dates).
Then perhaps when viewing a Team calendar, you could have the option to toggle the display of aggregated channel calendar entries within that team so you get a rolled up view of events most relevant to the channels you follow...
Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:
- Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook
- Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams
- Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook
