Thanks for the continued activity on this ticket and showing me this new idea. Can someone please create a new UV idea and rally the troops to vote for it? I love the idea of @here — a good idea for the Presence team.
Note: You CAN @ tag a channel to get the channel’s attention and make it bold so people will look at the channel.
Thank you everyone and have a great Wednesday!
The fact that @channel and @team are the same group of people is the root of the problem. Channels should be subsets of teams, and not aliases. Whether the channel is opt-in or opt-out should be a switch that is flipped at creation time, but the goal is to be able to scope your pings to only people who care to receive them.
I wish you could make certain Channels opt-in instead of someone in a niche Channel using an @channel and everyone in the Team gets pinged

I would like to see every chat I've ever participated in. How do I find the group chat from over a month ago? I can't remember every name in the group, and searching for the name of the chat doesn't work either.
This is in internal testing. I don’t have exact timing for you, but wanted to let you know it is coming!
The feature team is still discussing this suggestion. No decision has been made yet, but I’ll keep you posted.
I'm really excited to see this progressing :)
Here's a non-broken link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/contacts-and-calendar/my-people-support
My People needs more support from future-facing internal products like Teams in order to encourage implementation from other major chat providers like Facebook/Twitter
This feature item is still in the works. We will keep you posted as we have new info from the feature team.
This is still under review, no decision has been made. But I will keep following up with the feature team and providing them your feedback.

The zoom feature has released to the public ring. Using CRTL + or CTRL – zoom in and out on a Windows PC.
I need to correct the information I provided last month about MAC. It appears the MAC version is still in testing and hasn’t yet gone out to the public. It is “In Testing” but will be coming to the public soon!
The item tracking this specific update can be found at: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/admin/v3/suggestions/16933183/activity
There now is a UI element that tells you your current zoom level and a Setting within the UI to preset your zoom preference.
Since the zoom feature could very well cover the vast majority of user needs, based on the majority of comments and feedback, I will flag this item as Partially Done.
Thank you for all the feedback and support!
